Llŷn Peninsula
10th July 2017 - 11th September 2017
We’ve scouted out the perfect hidden beach nestled between the bustling town of Pwllheli and the quaint seaside village of Llanbedrog. Set along the stunning Llŷn Peninsula, our pop-up glamping hotel site offers panoramic views of the Snowdonia mountain range across the sea.
A designated ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’, the picturesque Llŷn Peninsula showcases some of the finest golden beaches and bays in Wales, as well as rocky headlands and coves begging to be explored! You won’t find yourself alone in this exceptional setting however – the peninsula is teeming with wildlife!
But we haven’t chosen this location just for it’s beauty (although that is a huge draw!); the Llŷn Peninsula is rich in history and legends. Delve into the past here and you will discover Iron Age forts and archaeological wonders dating back to prehistoric times. The closeness of the sacred site of Bardsey Island, or Ynys Enlli as it is called in Welsh, has seen many a pilgrim trek across this land since the sixth century!
Visitors will also enjoy direct access to the famous Wales Coast Path from their one-off campsite of eight individually-designed units as they experience an immersive break filled with Welsh history, legend and culture.
You can also choose to enjoy a full programme of one-off experiences and activities we’ve crafted for this once-in-a-lifetime adventure, such as a boat trip to the legendary Bardsey Island; a mystic and holy place rumoured to be the burial site of King Arthur, beer tasting at a local brewery and time to explore the atmospheric Snowdonia National Park – home to the highest mountain in England and Wales.
Along the way you will meet also local characters, legendary figures and entertainers who will bring the story of Wales alive.
